Keep It Up: Big Hair Clips

A recent fad that has spread like wildfire in Waco is the “big clip trend.” You’d be lying if you said you haven’t seen at least one girl rocking this hairstyle. This is yet another fashion movement inspired by the Y2K era, and I am personally welcoming it back with open arms.

While the mainstream way to style this clip is a forever go-to, we decided to come up with some different ways to style your big clip...

This first way is a fool proof half-up half-down hairstyle. Style your hair in a middle part, open the clip and drag it across the crown of your head. Clip it in the back and bam, you have a comfy, cute and casual hairstyle for any occasion!!

The next style - if you want to keep all hair contained - is a great and easy way to use the big clip! Instead of your hair hanging out, you can clip it all up for a cute bun look. All you have to do is fully twist your hair, fold it in half and clip the entirety of your hair. I like wearing this style if I’m in a professional setting.

Next, the style I’ve been using for any occasion. It looks great with a cute outfit and is super casual! First, you will tie your hair in a clean and full bun. Tie it so there is some hair poking out from the top of the bun. Next, you will clip your hair at the top of the bun and let the extra hairs poke out from the clip. So simple and so stylish!
