Last-Minute Halloween Costumes

Halloween is this weekend?! It is crazy how fast time flies! If you have not had time to find your costume yet … you are in luck! Here are some guidelines for what to wear – and what not to – this year!

The Rock, not a cowgirl!

At this point, every girl (especially in the South) owns a cowgirl hat. It is time to mix it up! The Rock is an extremely easy (and hilarious) costume to throw together! Simply go to your closet and grab a black turtleneck, a pair of blue jeans, a black belt, and a silver necklace. Add your own twist to this look by adding funky shoes or hair accessories! 

Cupid, not the devil!

The devil look is overdone and overused. Try cupid! All you need is a white, red, or pink top, white, red, or pink pants, and some heart earrings. You can even add additions – a headband or wings – to add some spice! This outfit is adorable and can be thrown together quickly. 

70’s hippie, not a vampire!

I feel like this goes without saying, but it is likely that several vampires are going to show up on your Instagram feed this year. Why not try something new! If you own any flare jeans or floral tops, then this costume is perfect for you! A thick, colorful headband and a pair of chunky boots will have you standing out at any event!
