Anna Robinson has a fearless approach to fashion, with a closet full of puffy sleeves and pretty patterns. She is not one to let someone else tell her how to dress. Her ability to find a way to integrate fashion into just about every outfit and aspect of her life makes her this week’s So Hot Right Now.
How would you describe your style? I’d say my style is very eclectic. I have a lot of different pieces from different decades, and I like to style them together in ways others might not think of.
Where are some of your favorite places to shop? The majority of my closet is from Free People and Anthropologie. When I go to the store, I go straight to the sale section and can almost always find something. I also really like ASOS, which is an online only store. They sell everything from affordable to luxury to sustainable to anything you can really think of.
Where do you get fashion inspiration from? Instagram and Pinterest are pretty customary. I follow a lot of designers I really like on there. I also love Matches.com which has designer brands posting their most recent collections and helps me kind of get an idea of what the smaller, more affordable brands will be coming out with.
What are your favorite trends right now? I love puffy sleeves. More than half of the stuff in my closet has puffy sleeves, I think they’re so fun! I also love flared pants. They look good on everybody! Men, women, adults, kids, tall, short, just everybody. I think they’re the best thing.
What is one piece of clothing you cannot live without? My Grants Naturals bag. It is like an embossed leather crossbody with a frame closure, and I bought an embroidered camera strap to use as the strap. Both are from different booths at a flea market, and I pieced them together to create my everyday bag.
Who is your style icon? I don’t wanna say Harry Styles, but I wanna say Harry Styles. I just feel like he is everyone’s style icon, but he is just so good. I have been following him for the last ten years, and I have really been following his style and his stylist since he broke off on his own. He knows what looks good and wears things you would never think of and is so confident.
