Calm, confident, and full of good vibes, Prince’s personality is effortlessly reflected in his style. His unique fashion is the culmination of his entrepreneurial lifestyle and ethnic culture, with his wardrobe featuring a play on traditional Nigerian clothing and business wear. All this and more makes it easy to recognize why Prince is this week’s SHRN.

How would you describe your style?

Business-oriented and mature.

What role does fashion play in your life?

In respect to how I present myself to first-time investors and people interested in my company, it’s important. Their first impression of me is based on how I dress, and how they see me dictates their interest in investing in my company. Like, if I go to a business meeting in jeans and a t-shirt, no one is going to take me seriously. So, yeah, [style] helps perception a lot.

If you could steal the closet of one celebrity or person, who would it be and why?

Hm… a couple of names are coming to mind. It’d definitely be a mix between Michael Jackson because he had some crazy customs -- things you should not spend that much money on -- and Madonna. *laughs*

What is your process of creating and planning outfits?

I usually wake up, and depending on what I’m going to do that day, [I’ll plan my outfit]. I’ll change outfits multiple times in a day if my activities change or if my vibe changes; it pretty much depends on whatever I’m doing.

Where do you like to shop?

Zara, Topman (but they can get repetitive), Express, Aldo, and occasionally Saks Fifth if I want nice dress shoes.

What advice do you have for someone experimenting with their style?

Do whatever makes you happy. There is no right or wrong -- just make sure it’s appropriate for whatever you’re doing.

3 songs you’ve had on repeat recently:

On That Time by Plaboi Carti
