Will is a serene and charismatic guy who is recognized around campus for his eccentric style that blends cowboy, urban, and athletic trends. For his sartorial insights to sports fashion and men’s styling, Will is this week’s So Hot Right Now!

How would you describe your style in a couple words?

Unorthodox and simplistic.

What are the main influences on your fashion sense?

Mostly European soccer - soccer is one of my main passions, so [my inspiration] comes from looking up to the players and watching them on social media. Also from some actors and musical artists. The main guys would probably be Héctor Bellerín, Matty Healy, and Timothée Chalamet.

How has your style evolved throughout college?
I don't think it's evolved too much. In college, it's more normalized to dress individualistically, where in high school, it was more unconventional. But for me personally, it hasn't changed too much - I’m just getting more feedback now.

What is your go-to outfit?
Some form of converse and a comfortable, versatile pair of pants with a retro shirt. Denim jean jacket occasionally. I wear a lot of hats, too.

How has soccer influenced your style?
Growing up, soccer was the center of my life - playing overseas while visiting family, idolizing players and seeing how they dress off the field, and getting insight from them while trying to implement it in my own style. It's probably the biggest thing that's influenced my style.

What is your dream job?
Unfeasible dreams: playing soccer, being a musician, or acting. 

In reality: franchising is on the horizon and then who knows, maybe international business.

What is your favorite item in your closet?
My rings! I love jewelry and how the pieces can combine with each other and add so much to an outfit.

Where are your favorite places to shop?
I thrift almost everything.

What are your favorite trends right now?

I really like the whole 60s and 70s vibe that’s being brought back right now. I love the whole era, and I think it's stylistically wholesome. Implementing it with European trends and combining the two is really cool.
