To show this off, he can often be found wearing a punchy graphic tee with some funky sneakers, setting the pace for casual street-wear with sporty undertones. All this and more makes Dominic this week’s So Hot Right Now!
1. How would you define your style?
Most of the time, laid back but also kind of out there at the same time. I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt, but the t-shirt is nicer, and it’s usually ripped jeans with some sort of athletic type shoe, like Jordans or Air Maxes.
2. From where or whom do you find your style inspiration?
Probably NBA players, like Russell Westbrook, P.J. Tucker, and Kelly Oubre Jr. Basically, NBA players that have pre-game fits that are laid-back yet stylish.
3. What are some trends you think we’ll see this fall season?
Sweatsuits, for sure. Those are always a big fall thing. I think puffer jackets, as well. I saw those a lot last fall and winter, so I feel like they’ll make a comeback.
4. Say you get to do a fashion photoshoot wherever you want in the world. Where would it be and what would you be wearing?
Probably Paris. I‘ve always really loved France, and Paris, France has always been a big bucket list thing for me. I would probably wear what I normally wear just because I think that represents my style the best, so some nice jeans, cool shoes, and a jacket and a t-shirt.
5. Where are some of your favorite places to shop?
For shoes, I use GOAT, which is a sneaker app. For jeans, I like H&M a lot because they’re cheap and look good. Oh, I also like Pacsun for jeans, and I’d say Pacsun again for graphic tees and jackets.
6. If you could have the wardrobe of any movie/TV character, who would it be and why?
Will Smith from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air because he’s got a relaxed style that’s also clean and stylish.
7. Any advice for someone exploring their style?
Just try new things! Thrifting’s a great way to find things a little outside of your comfort zone without spending a crazy amount of money. You can try out new things and switch it up with thrifting, so yeah, definitely try that.
